When you’re looking for a professional power washing company, it can get daunting. With all the different companies and people claiming they are a professional pressure washer, it’s hard to tell who the pros are compared to the new guys that don’t know what they’re doing. Some people might be cheap, and other companies are higher. This point you may wonder what the difference is. The difference comes down to experience insurance and the right equipment. In this article, I will inform you of different signs to look for to identify the pros.
Is More Power Better?
A professional power washing company knows how to safely use their equipment as to not cause damage to your home. Power washing is an impactful thing and not done correctly could damage your surfaces. Unfortunately, many people that get into power washing assume they must use high pressure to clean everything. This could not be further from the truth. Instead, we want to allow chemicals to do most of the work for us and then we will wash or sometimes even rinse away the debris and solution that we put on to the substrate.
Getting the Desired Results
If you want the desired results, you want to ensure that they are using proper cleaning practices. The article here is one that explains all the different cleaning techniques. Whether it be a house wash roof wash concrete cleaning wood cleaning or awning.
A Pro can Conserve Water
In today’s society, we are becoming more aware of water conservation to the point even some Municipalities have laws on water conservation. Even with equipment that professionals use that uses more gallons per minute compared to what most new guys will have. We still use less water because we are more experienced and know how to use water to remove all the contaminants from the area more efficiently. Also, because we are allowing the chemicals to do most of the work.
A Pro is Fully Insured
Most new power washers will say power washing is not dangerous, and I do not understand why. I bet they say this as a foolish excuse to not get insurance. When hiring a power washing company always ask them for their Certificate of Insurance to ensure that they have full insurance with general liability and workers’ compensation. Two other forms of insurance that are good to have are Commercial Auto Insurance and an honest Bond. I cover more detail on this in this article.
